This job is responsible for assessing patients and safely performing routine radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. This job is a clinical mentor for junior staff and students. Do you enjoy the intensity of a fast-paced environment? Are you committed to teamwork and making a difference?As a Radiologic Technologist at an Ochsner Urgent Care Center, you will find no two days are ever the same. From imaging patients, to medical assistant duties such as rooming & triaging patients and working hand in hand with the physician, you will play a crucial role to proving top notch care to patients in distress. You will see a wide array of patients from diverse backgrounds ranging from infants to teens and adults, so you should be comfortable working with all ages. Because urgent care facilities are open extended hours, you will need to be flexible with scheduling. Shifts : 2- 12 hour shifts, 1- 6 hour shift, and 2 weekend days a month. What we offer: * Shift differentials * Full comprehensive benefits * Time off accrual * Team-oriented environment * Cross training What we look for: Education & Certification * Open to new graduates * Required - Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school * Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) * Required- Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) * Required- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
