• Under general supervision of the Registered Nurse, function as a member of the surgical team, creating and maintaining a sterile field, supplying surgeon with needed instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures of Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital.
• Assist with and assume general departmental duties and responsibilities.
• Practice within the guidelines set by AST and AORN.
• Perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures
• Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)

Preferred Job Requirements

• Two (2) years clinical practice with experience in the specific field
