The Network/La Red is a survivor-led, social justice organization with over 30 years’ experience working to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, kink, polyamorous, and queer communities. Our organization and staff are recognized locally and nationally as experts in providing survivor-centered services and as thought leaders on the issue of LGBTQ+ partner abuse. We blend our history and commitment to being survivor-led, our analysis of LGBTQ+ partner abuse, and our commitment to being an anti-oppressive organization to create a unique framework that is the foundation of our survivor-centered approach. We are who we work with, the staff, volunteers, and board of directors of TNLR are members of the very communities the organization serves. We believe that survivors are the experts on their own lives and are therefore committed to centering survivor voices and leadership in all aspects of our work. While we offer services for survivors we also organize and educate about partner abuse to create the change we believe is possible for our communities. Role Title: Survivor Leadership Associate Location: This position works between two offices and out in community in the Greater Boston Area of Massachusetts. While this position currently works remote, this is an in-office position. The Survivor Leadership Associate fosters survivor leadership in our communities using community organizing strategies and supports survivors in their work to educate their communities about partner abuse. This position plans and implements survivor-centered projects that develop the skills necessary for survivors to facilitate conversations about partner abuse as a community issue and its connection to oppression. Working with survivors in community also requires providing emotional support, so the Survivor Leadership Associate collaborates regularly with the direct service (DS) team to build those skills and receive ongoing support. Additionally, the Survivor Leadership Associate supervises any volunteers involved in TNLR’s survivor-leadership efforts. Responsibilities:

Compensation: Base salary at $52,000. While this position is not Bilingual required, a pay differential is offered to people who are fluent in English and Spanish with a salary of $54,080. TNLR offers a competitive benefits package, including:
