Role Summary The Senior Director of Finance will lead the organization's financial strategy and operations. Core Responsibilities - Oversee a multifaceted finance team, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy across financial activities. - Champion the financial planning and analysis initiatives, focusing on enhancing financial reporting, conducting in-depth profitability assessments, and guiding strategic financial forecasting. - Provide insightful financial analysis and forecasts to the board, influencing key decision-making processes. - Cultivate a culture of professional growth within the finance team, mentoring staff to achieve operational excellence. - Engage in productive collaboration with stakeholders, particularly aligning financial strategies with the expectations of private equity partners. - Facilitate a smooth transition of financial systems to modern platforms, ensuring continuity and efficiency in financial operations. Qualifications - Demonstrated leadership in the financial sector, with a preference for backgrounds in the pharmaceutical industry or similar fields. - Strong proficiency in financial management systems, with a specific requirement for QuickBooks expertise. - A history of effective engagement with private equity environments and understanding their unique financial landscapes.
